i had my cat neutered yesterday, today i look and see no stiches, no shaved area, i feel balls, is this possible?

shaving tends to irritate the scrotum, so vets will often have the hair plucked out during anesthesia (comes out easily). cats are neutered with two incisions in the scrotum, one over each testicle. since the scrotum remains, what you are feeling is likely the two swollen halves of the scrotum. this swelling should go down some in time. lastly, cat neuters tend to heal much better (and get left alone more by the cat) when the incisions are left open to drain and heal from the inside out.
