how many years does it take to go to a vet school in japan?

you see, i'm still a second year high school girl and i really want to be vet in japan, but the problem is i don't know how. i just want some clear answers when i go there. what i mean is, will i have to go take a college school in japan for four years or go to school in the states for four years and go to japan to study in four years again and 1 year practice? i don't get it. please, i really need some help.
